Association of Applied Physicists Pakistan (AAPP)

The department of Applied Physics was founded in 1971 and has produced a large number of graduates during the last twenty five years. The graduates are performing services not only in Pakistan, but also overseas as well. Many of the alumni expressed their wish to establish a forum where Alumni of the department can get together to exchange views on topics of common interest. This association not only bring its graduates under one platform but also organize annual functions and other matter for mutual benefits.

• Association occasionally hold different functions, exhibitions and shows to finance it affairs.
• Seminars and debates are conducted on modern trends in Applied Physical Sciences in view of requirements of local and international job market.
• A directory and journal of the Association are under processing

Membership Procedure:

Members of AAPP can be obtained by filling the registration form along with three recent passport size photographs, one attached to the form and two other for the membership card and the directory and return it to any the office bearers at the given address.

All those who have graduated from the department of Applied Physics, University of Karachi can join the Association as a Full Member.

All those who are studying in the department may join the association as a Associate Members.

People having extraordinary qualification and achievement in the field of Applied Physical Sciences, those who have rendered Public Services or permanent donors may offered the honorary membership of the Association.

Payment can be made either by cash or by cheque drawn in favor of Treasurer of the Association. Further information can be obtained from any of the members of the committee. Association will send a membership card at the postal address mentioned in the registration form.
